Al Seib / Los Angeles Times California's homeownership rate is at its lowest since World War II, and a third of renters spend more than half of their income on housing costs. Bill Clinton took a crack at subsidizing people into home ownership with CRA and other incentives, then the GOP astro-turfers blamed it for the mortgage banking crisis where we had to bail out all the high stakes gamblers.

This is another policy that irks GOP to see people's taxes going to help people instead of corporations, like the Affordable Care Act.

All the trickle down goes to the Judas representatives and the rest floods offshore into wealthy vaults and out of circulation.

The circulating money THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED TO CREATE JOBS all ends up in landlords pockets now more than ever just as Republican Jesus intended. --protesting is minimized too because people can't make ends meet.
