Sinn Fein should be Fein Sinn. I always thought they got it backwards. Shouldn't the day after St. Pat's be called 'Hangover Day'?

My Irish half wants to shout Gaelic curses into a raging Norther, my Scandinavian half wants to slink like a beaten dog in a rainstorm.

Nobody was gunned down?

Nope, this is one of the benefits of an area with mostly senior (and family) living, less angry free floating testosterone

I don't know, I really don't care for St. Patricks Day. Seems kind of lame. And it's kind of weird that it's such a big deal when there really aren't that many Irish in the USA. I like excuses to drink, but it just seems like a mockery of the Irish that aren't mutts and an excuse to drink copious amounts of alcohol. Do actual Irish even care if they're native born Americans, 2nd gen style? No different than Octoberfest stuff.

I don't celebrate any Lithuanian holidays and I'm 2nd gen removed. My grandfathers were all dead before I was even conceived. Hell, my grandpas were dead when my parents were 11 and 13. I have drank and partied with Lithuanians at my parents place of business, but I frankly don't care about the heritage. We're ass holes... lol. That's all I know. Good looking women though.
