"We have seen this convergence before in Hitler’s Germany, in Stalin’s Russia, in Mussolini’s Italy, and in Mao’s China: the rise of strongmen and demagogues, the ascendency of profit-driven politics over deep-seated principles, the warring nationalism that seeks to divide and conquer, the callous disregard for basic human rights and dignity, and the silence of people who should know better."

Paul E. Schindler Jr. (born September 17, 1952) is an American journalist known for being the software reviewer on the popular television program Computer Chronicles from 1985 to 1999. He worked for 20 years in computer journalism at CMP Technology and Ziff-Davis, including Computer Systems News, Information Systems News, Information Week, PC Week, Byte Magazine, and Windows Magazine.

I guess we all can review software, so the title is no lie.

Mis-spelled the name. I believe I mentioned reading his biography in our books thread:

https://nogginnose.com/paul-schneider/

When a friend told him to pull back and think about his kids, Schneider responded that he was thinking about their spiritual care first. Not sure if I know of any Christians with that kind of faith, including myself. The tie-in with the article is I think we are headed to a place where we will all have to make those types of decisions. I can only hope my faith in God is stronger than I think it is.
