I don't know, but it kept happening. It seems OK now, but that is why I asked. I am coding illiterate. Maybe some Russian bot scanning the site.

I had some weird problems myself yesterday, where a few comments of mine disappeared. So I changed my password and now get notified of my own logins, just in case someone else gets the password. But even that code change was a bit strange. I got logged out several times when I should not have been. Seems OK now.

I suppose it's possible that someone broke the SSL and is changing things on the fly. Or that my hosting service gave root access to the anti-Americans at the FBI. But the most likely thing is nothing, just our own paranoia.

I've met Ceffer, I believe. If he's Russian, he's got excellent English and lives comfortably in the United States.

I will openly disagree with him here, but I won't demean him. Would be hilarious if he's FSB or something like that, but I find this extremely unlikely. I have no respect for any intelligence agent or asset, BTW, but I wouldn't disparage Ceffer by calling him one of those scumbags. James Bond is a fantasy.

I think “word” could be quite appropriate here. It’s gangster slang for “I agree” or “that’s the truth.”
