I think it might be your browser, because I'm able to do this on Android using the Brave web browser..

I've blocked four of their IP addresses.

I was gonna say something, but I bitch enough about stuff and Pat does this for nothing basically. It was running extraordinarily slow the last 24-48 hours.

As a long-term solution to overly aggressive spiders, or people just being assholes and trying to take down the site, I've implemented rate limiting.

You should not notice any difference unless you go crazy and try to reload a page over and over. It should temporarily block you after about 10 of those. After a few seconds, it will then unblock you.

Please let me know if you see anything happen which is inconvenient to normal human browsing of the site, either by commenting here, or by emailing p@patrick.net
