I am at my mother-in-law's house in Nebraska. Every year her neighbor puts on an amazing firework show. This year it was done July 3rd. The cul-de-sac is closed off for a block party that starts around 6PM that has a smoked barbeque and potluck. About 100 people attended. Mostly White, but a few Blacks and Mexicans. Ages from preschool to retired. Music also, with about a dozen ladies line dancing in the street for certain country songs. It was about $3,000 in fireworks shot off once night hit. Lots of debris afterward, but the kids got working with brooms and snow shovels and cleaned it up.
