Touchy subject for me. I got in trouble in elementary school for calling a black kid a nigger. He was bullying so I just called him that. Funny part is I now have a black child. My kid was called a cracker at school by some little Indian shit and didn't know how to respond. I sat him down and delivered a lecture on what to call every little colored shit in situations like that. Exactly. I've told teachers in the past if my daughter has someone picking on her, she's authorized to use force, and I won't blame her, I'll blame them, as they're only adult supervising at the time. And I've talked my daughter through what constitutes an appropriate response escalation, so first isn't step one unless the other kids start with physical.
