Thanks but I failed to account the effect of Klobuchar and Buttigieg dropping out at the last minute to help Biden.

yep and it will become a brokered convention and Hillary will save the party with pelosi's support.

Yep! Our best hope is that Sanders does well in Michigan next Tuesday. But Sanders doesn't even have to win too much, just be reasonably competitive to force a brokered convention that should result in much Gnashing and Wailing of the teeth for Dems, and Tasty Leftist Tears for us!

I did read (didn't save link) that many Biden voters were there because their preferred Moderate Midwesterner dropped out, and they didn't have time to reconsider, so they just picked Sleepy Joe.

It’s funny to watch establishment Dems squirm so hard trying to sell Biden.

Not sure they're squirming so much. I think they're happy. Bernie cannot win a national election. Biden won't win either most likely, but he's their only hope.

This is why I'm intrigued by his VP pick. If Dems want to win, I think his VP pick is going to be super important as I think most acknowledge the dude is losing it. He can retain being POTUS and have a VP fill in for "medical issues" if I recall correctly. I think it would kind of be uncharted territory, but the Dems have to sell something to get some $$$ to try and beat Trump.

He pulls a McCain and picks some dip shit VP, Biden is toast. And yes, I'm talking like Bernie is out, because he is.

The great thing about a brokered convention is that if Biden fails to cross 50% in the first round, which is still a reasonable probability, anybody can be nominated by all delegates, pledged or super in successive rounds.

So Kamala, Bloomberg, or even Madame Secretary might end up being the nominee.

Not one would win, so they'd be once again shooting themselves in the foot if it came to that route. I hope they do that as it would be comical. Especially Hillary. She already lost to the fucking incumbent. We all know what changed and it wasn't Hillary.

As someone that is truly an independent, I'd like to see more/better competition. The democrats are an unmitigated dumpster fire of a party right now.

Senile Joe is just damage control for the Democrats.
1. Bernie = lose to Trump, lose seats in the House and the Senate.
2. Biden = lose to Trump.

None of my liberal friends are enthusiastic, anyone they liked has dropped out already, and some actually like Trump.

Best description of the last 72 hours or so. Senate is a lost cause for the Dems either way though I believe. House is always up for grabs. SCOTUS is done for generations assuming good health of current judges and we don't have another semi load of rape victims come out against the next SCOTUS nominee.

Don't know what kind of circles you hang out in. Liberals are enthusiastic about never hearing anything about or from Trump again, except possibly his legal troubles (on page 3). We can't wait until his fucking self involved tweets are just as newsworthy as they were in 2014.

Biden is going to annihilate Trump.

FLUSH THE TURD NOVEMBER THIRD !!!!!!!!!!

I'm in IL. Solid blue. Haven't met one person excited about Biden and I don't talk politics outside of this site 95% of the time. No one mentions him. He's going to lose. No one is excited outside of CA. If election day were somehow tomorrow, I'd bet my entire savings on it that Trump wins.
