I dislike the name changing as well. I think it shouldn't be allowed, but of course it takes two seconds to create a new email account and therefore new Patnet account. So really no point in stopping it. I've given up on trying to figure out writing styles here, but it's not too hard to spot old users after a while or if you take a break and someone changed their profile name.
