I so wonder what they think of everything, especially after Mueller turned out to be a total nothingburger.

Iwog was definitely moving down that road, which I have to say caused me to lose all respect. I'm glad he was spared being wrong on another major prediction.

Also interesting that the Dems became total Social Justice Warriors in the interim, too.

Credit to Ducky, he raised the warning flags about this trend early on. I pretty sure he's on other forums fighting a rear guard action against the identitarian left. Not sure I had really heard of antifa before he brought them up (though I was familiar with black bloc).
He really did let his TDS get the best of him.
And dang, I wish I had executed his silver strategy when I talked about it a couple of months ago... Sigh.

? That the Dems didn’t act upon it doesn’t make the Mueller report a nothing burger. There are some pretty serious issues with Russian interference that shouldn’t be so lightly dismissed.

And all this nonsense about making Antifa a terrorist group is just pure distraction. How many people have they killed? How about white supremacists? What about the video Fox has been peddling of the antifa individual attacking a bus with a hammer? Pretty convenient that they cut the beginning of that clip that showed the individual actually grabbed the hammer off someone on the bus who was attacking those outside. It’s that sort of manipulation of the facts that is becoming all too common.
4   Shaman   2019 Aug 20, 1:10pm

Mueller didn’t even know what was in the Mueller report. He refused to answer 90% of questions about it or the central issues, and appeared lost and confused. That killed it deader than disco. There was no enlightenment to be had from that tome, only pre-arranged incitement by a bevy of Clinton lawyers who somehow got put on Mueller’s crew and appeared to write the whole thing as Mueller himself didn’t know much about the report.

It’s dead and done. Congress has nothing real to go on for impeachment and although they could do a completely partisan vote based on the insinuations of the report, it would look very bad when the GOP destroyed them in session, and then voted to kick their impeachment to the curb.
Maybe they should do it! The Kavanaugh Kangaroo Kourt certainly didn’t help their image with Blasey Ford up there with her stupid hair behind her dumb glasses talking like a little girl and perjuring herself all to hell.

It was hilarious. The legacy press were talking about how Mueller was the grand puppet master of the law, doing everything in a calculated and brilliant manner to get the timing right to GET TRUMP and pave the way to impeachment.

Turns out, it was just the corrupt Dem apparatchiks behind the scenes. They probably had to scrape Mueller's senile ass out of bed, put him in a back office with a gallon of scotch, and scrape him off the floor to ship him home in the afternoon.

So much for the 'Grand ChessMaster'.

Unfortunately, some people odds against odds are saying the same thing about AG Barr, as if he is doing shit to go after the Russia Gate subversives and launch the fiery sword of justice on the LibbyFuck malfeasors. I would be willing to take a 2:1 contrarian bet that he is doing no such thing, but is merely there to put a face on covering things up. That's is what his history indicates, and that is what he will continue doing.
7   OneTwo   2019 Aug 20, 1:45pm

Grand chess master? Please. He was a dour, straight down the line Republican who did the job in a methodical and thorough way. That’s what he is known for and that’s what he delivered.

Methodical and thorough would have been shutting the entire canard down after a few months when it was obvious it was a fictitious sham, instead of promulgating it for over two years KNOWING it was a sham.

Yep - it was just like the Patrick Fitzgerald Scooter Libby debacle. Fitzgerald and Mueller knew within days it was Colin Powell's deputy (Richard Armitage) that innocuously mentioned Valerie Plame's name to a reporter, but they spent millions of dollars dragging on an investigation for years making everyone believe that the Bush administration was purposefully outing CIA spies.

Iwog was never intellectually honest from what I could remember.

It's a shame because he knew his shit, about a lot of things. But he had no room for opinions about the future or the outcome of a story, other than the one he held on to.
He demanded proof for your own predictions about the future. He demanded proof of your own assumptions about why you liked a candidate.

Based purely on your own political prejudices. The findings of the report demonstrate that interference wasn’t a fictitious sham no matter how much you wish to believe it. A thorough investigation takes time. That’s just the way such things go. FFS, remind us all how long Ken Starr spent on his investigation.

Uh, They knew in summer 2018 there was nothing, and that the Steele Dossier was bullshit fabricated entirely by Fusion GPS and their foreign contractors, etc.. They literally had no clues to follow up on at that point, they chose to wait until after the midterms so it could still be held over Trump's head for political purposes.

There is nothing to indict Trump on, and no productive avenues despite a multi-million dollar 2 year investigation that was really led by a coterie of anti-Trump haters, including Peter Strzok, until it his texts came out several months into the Investigation.

Mueller himself didn't point to anything in the Report worth arsing about. It didn't look like he was more than a figurehead to the anti-Trump Deep Staters really running the investigation on a day-to-day basis.

Lefties keep saying "Read the Hundreds of Pages". Why not TELL US what is in those hundreds of pages that we should consider.

Did Trump really pee on prostitutes in Moscow years ago or something. Don't know how that's impeachable even if true. Because Mifsud already blabbed to the DOJ, he confirmed he was NOT a Russian Agent, just posing as one on behalf of a Western Intelligence Agency. It might have even been Comey's FBI, prehaps at McCabe or Strzok's request.

I was getting irate, when so many ppl, esp east coast women, couldn't accept the fact that Trump won the election, fair and square by the rules in place.

https://patrick.net/post/1301811/2017-01-23-election-bitches-read-my-lips-the-vote-of-women-in-boston-and-nyc-don-t-matter

I mean it's one thing if it were news that Trump was a sleazy, trash talking, womanizing, scummy real estate developer but when those facts were established back in the mid-80s, what's everyone's problem? That a person with a lousy personality can't run for high office?

Have we lost Marcus and Jazz? They were fun to "debate" with. I was hoping that facts and logic would eventually help them see the truth. They did seem to be going more and more deranged.

Unfortunately that has been the story of our country lately.

It seems to me that the investigation knew pretty early on that Trump and his campaign weren't part of the Russian interference. At that point the investigation should have advised the world of their conclusion. The investigators could have asked to then continue investigating Russian interference independent of Trump. But, instead, they dragged the POTUS through controversy for 3 years with the aid of the "mainstream" media the whole way. There are people I talk to even now that just assume Trump must have been in on it because the investigation was so long and media covered it so inaccurately.

That said, the gist of the Russian interference claim is that Russia orchestrated various "fraudulent" social-media campaigns in order to sway voter opinion. But the funny thing is ... why has nobody identified and explained these schemes so the voters won't be fooled the next time around? Could it be that these schemes didn't actually exist or that they are so weak-sauce the voters would laugh at the gullibility of the Mueller investigators?

This has me worried for the election. It's amazing what sort of full court press was pulled off for nearly 4 years from so many angles of corruption.

Darn.
I used to visit this site tons before the election. Wish I knew how Iwog was investing or during and post pandemic.

I did not know there were new user rules.

Thanks for the update and quick response Wookie!

They are rules to an extent. The rule specifically I'm referencing is naming other users, and generally in a negative light. I can say it's nice to see ChapulinColorado back. But if I call you an a-hole or it seems negative, that's frowned upon. Politics have made most forums difficult to manage. So Patrick has a few rules, but it's generally pretty cordial here, just different topics from the real estate days.
33   Ceffer   2020 Aug 20, 12:02pm

I saw Iwog duck taped to a telephone pole in Berkeley, frothing a bit at the mouth, with a big sign attached saying "Real Estate Tips For Food".
