Dean Baquet, the executive editor of the New York Times, said recently that, after the Mueller report, the paper has to shift the focus of its coverage from the Trump-Russia affair to the president's alleged racism. ... Baquet used the gentlest terms possible — "the story changed" — but the fact is, the conspiracy-coordination allegation the Times had devoted itself to pursuing turned out to be false. Beyond that, Democrats on Capitol Hill struggled to press an obstruction case against the president. The Trump-Russia hole came up dry.

If one lie doesn't work, try another.

Baquet, in his remarks, seemed to fault the complaining readers, and the world, for their failure to understand the Times and its duties in the era of Trump. “They sometimes want us to pretend that he was not elected president, but he was elected president,” Baquet said. “And our job is to figure out why, and how, and to hold the administration to account.

Why he was elected?

Seriously? It's not that we don't understand The Times. It's that The Times does not understand itself.

Trump was elected because of you, dear NY Times, and because of all the wealthy coastal elite liberal smarmy self-righteous accusatory inflammatory reality-denying institutions like you which have greatly divided and weakened our country.

You are part of the problem, not part of the solution. The problem is the mass export of jobs and mass import of illegals which leaves ordinary Americans to suffer while you ignore it and try to whip up hysteria about Russia, and when that doesn't work, about "racism".

Good lord.

One good hoax deserves another.

Powell at least had the integrity to admit he lied and manipulated the public:

Former US secretary of state Colin Powell says his United Nations speech making the case for the US-led war on Iraq was "a blot" on his record.

Mr Powell has also said that he had "never seen evidence to suggest" a connection between the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in the United States and the Saddam regime.

In the February 2003 presentation to the UN Security Council, Mr Powell forcefully made the case for war on the regime of Saddam Hussein, offering "proof" that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

The NY Times never had the integrity to admit they lied about Iraq and manipulated the public into supporting war.

But then, it's obvious every day that the NY Times lacks integrity.

This is because honesty, integrity and truth mean absolutely nothing to the left...its not a leftist value at all.

To a leftist there is no religion, there is no importnace of sticking to your word. And its very evident in the leftist politicians that are monopolizing the Democrat presidential nomination race.

This must be why I despise the left so greatly. I'm a ISTJ personality type. My word is my promise, my honor. I can't reasonably deal with people who dont understand and respect that. Leftists don't.

It was proven true and no one cared.

You'd think there would be at least a little bit of hard evidence by now if so.

Yet... nothing.

I'd be grateful to hear some clear and convincing proof, not just that Trump's maid's son-in law once heard Russian spoken on the street and thought they said something about Trump.

Washington Examiner Says
Mueller report

I think we should start calling it the "Weissman report" — that's what it really is. From Mueller's testimony, it's apparent Mueller is only vaguely familiar with the report. Calling it the Weissman report makes more sense, as Weissman has been a hit-man in other legal government ventures before.
