Turns out Trudeau fired his own Justice Minister (Jody Wilson-Raybould) after she refused settling out-of-court with a Montreal Engineering Company (SNC Lavalin) that had bribed it's way into government contracts, insisting on prosecution due to the weight of evidence. Her Trudeau appointed replacement never filed charges and settled out of court. Trudeau's Liberal Party then had a gag order slapped on her after reassigning her to a much lower post in the Canadian equivalent of the VA, to prevent her speaking to the Media about the case.

It's also the first time in Canadian History where Two Ministers have been both fired from their ministries and then expelled from the Party for standing up to the Prime Minister on principled objections.
