Short attention span is the curse of the information age. It almost seems burdensome to 'go deep' on knowledge and information when you could just be surfing a bunch of superficial crap, a lot of it just manufactured bullshit. Young people believe that anything that can't be expressed in a couple of paragraphs isn't worth pursuing.
