The arrest of Mr. Avenatti, who in a separate case was charged by federal prosecutors in California with bank and wire fraud, was the latest development in a spectacular fall by a lawyer who is known for orbiting and representing an array of celebrities and who has been central to some of the most salacious headlines about Mr. Trump.

The wall is being built, Obamacare getting massacred, heart beat laws being passed in various states. Various prediction models now say Trump will win the popular vote (which means Colorado’s democrat votes will go towards Trump).

If I were still a democrat I’d be furious at how ineffective they’ve been.

And if the economy keeps up its epic run, I think Trump will win by quite a margin.

Democrats bet everything on hate and lost. Instead, like Trump, they should have focused on how ordinary US citizens suffered under globalization, unfettered illegal immigration, and intolerant political correctness.

I hope they come up with a challenger who understands these issues. Then Americans will have two good choices instead of just one.

That's the thing I feel most lefties/democrats don't understand.

They think that people like me are single party right wing extremist (even though 2020 will be the first time I vote GOP for president in my life).

If Democrats had better to offer than Killary, Beta Fake Mexican, Bernie Marx, or Kamala Hooker, I'd consider voting for a Joe Manchin type moderate Dem.

Here's the Dems biggest problem, even after 2 years, they still think that the zeitgeist of Boston, NYC, DC, Chicago, LA, and SF decide national elections.

Since I live in Boston, cityside, I see this all the time. Whenever ppl talk about Trump, it's as if the whole nation works for Fidelity Investments, the State of Mass, or some Harvard/Tufts hospital with benefits and long term career stability.

I find myself reminding a lot of ppl that many places across the US have a few major companies in a parse region and when those companies decide to offshore or downsize, it's curtain call for that region ala Allegheny PA and much of the rust belt.
