A Saudi woman being held at a Bangkok airport fears she will be killed if she is repatriated by Thai immigration officials, who have confirmed the 18-year-old has been denied entry to the country.

Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun said she was stopped by Saudi and Kuwaiti officials when she arrived at Suvarnabhumi airport and her travel document was forcibly taken from her, a claim backed by Human Rights Watch.

“They took my passport,” she said, adding that her male guardian had reported her for travelling “without his permission”. Qunun said she was in transit to seek asylum in Australia, where she claimed to have a visa.

Qunun said she was trying to flee her family, who subjected her to physical and psychological abuse. “My family is strict and locked me in a room for six months just for cutting my hair,” she said, adding that she was certain she would be imprisoned if sent back.

“I’m sure 100% they will kill me as soon as I get out of the Saudi jail,” she said, adding that she was “scared” and “losing hope”.

What right do the Saudis have to forcibly take this girl back to the desert for execution?
How dare the Thai government participate in this kidnapping, which will lead to her brutal murder.
Where are the fucking Islam apologists. They too are participants in this if they don't speak out.
Fucking animals.

How were Saudi and Kuwaiti officials able to stop anyone at a Thai airport? You cannot even nab a murderer that way, you got to get the Thai officials to arrest the fugitive.

Just reinforces my belief that the Gulf War to kick Saddam out of Kuwait was an error. Saddam was a bastard, but at least he was modernizing the Arab world and would have prohibited this crap.

Meh. She’s probably still a devout Muslim. Send her back where muslims go.

She has publicly renounced Islam. She is dead on arrival the moment she lands in SA.
Her situation seems very genuine. With the incredible publicity she has received along with her daring escape, she will make an excellent role model for others to escape the hell women go through in Islam. The embarrassment and humiliation SA faces is a Xmas gift from Santa Claus.

Why isn't she burning qurans and demanding Mecca be nuked like a normal person?

She might once she reaches Australia. She may as well burn those Koran's as she will be in hiding for a long time anyway. The Aussie CIA may have to give her a whole new identity. She could change her name from Rahaf to Rachel. I think she will make a nice Rachel.

Give her a gun and a license to kill jihadis and let a camera crew follow her around.

Hate-fucking imams with a huge strap-on would be even more lucrative when broadcasted on pay-per-view.

Kicking Saddam out of Kuwait was just the first Gulf War, GW's father did that one.

The second one was just to kill Saddam to distract the US from the fact that Saudi Arabia was responsible for 9/11.

Who would you choose if you were to decide who was better for the world?
1. A brutal dictator that abuses human rights by ensuring Islamists are are kept in check.
2. A brutal Islamic regime that abuses human rights by ensuring those who oppose Islam are kept in check.

We do not have the choice of Jeffersonian Democracy, so between the two, Number 1. Both Saddam and Ataturk worked to bring their countries from total Islamic immersion into something more liberal. Saddam was even empowering Christians and women. Yes her was a vicious autocrat, but that step seems necessary for any Islamic country to progress to democracy.
