Finally a Horror Show That's Scary

I've seen American Horror Story and Castle Rock, and have been routinely disappointed with the exception of the Roarke AHS. Hill House on Netflix is what I've been waiting for. A horror show that is as good as any horror movie in theaters, but last 3 times as long. It's freaking awesome. My wife and I both got goosebumps and a chill up our spine on one scene(if you've watched it, you know which one), and my wife almost screamed and scared the shit out of me hitting me last night on a jump scare.

Thanks for the recommendation! I was eyeing this one. The problem will be getting my wife interested. She hasn’t watched a scary movie since The Grudge which totally freaked her out.

Nothing can equal the scariness of the original 1963 "The Haunting", and nothing ever materialized.

It was good for it's time, but pales compared to this adaptation. They didn't know about Japanese horror in '63, so can't really blame them.

If you like those kind of stories, recommend The Legend of Hell House. Very similar plot.
