Russia can also be added to a list of powers throwing Kurds under the bus. They had troops in Afrin area and withdrew them before Turkish offensive, presumably because Erdogan agreed to some gas pipeline.
And yes, fuck everyone - Kurds are the only normal, non-Islamist power in Middle East. However, if they keep being slaughtered they WILL become Islamist and then good luck fighting next ISIS. We can remember history - Chechen war against Russia - Chechens were initially secular, their first leaders were Soviet army generals (Dzhokhar Dudaev) but after sufficient bombing and massacres they are now supplying Islamist fighters to whole Middle East.
