Agreed. I find it hard to believe a demographic of the population that comprises approximately 25-30 million individuals is all "spoiled children".

If a woman wants to attract a quality man, she needs to make herself a quality woman. That doesn’t just mean boob implants and nice makeup. It means getting an education, learning to cook, and being ready to be an equal partner in a marriage. The days of kept women are over. Someone I know got divorced after 20+ years. Was miserable as hell. But soon kids became adults, so mama did not have that over him. Then he discovered dating websites-women flock to him-some drove 200 mi for a date. I am like wtf?? He is your regular dude, decent money, but nothing great. After a certain age, I guess the tables turn. No way in hell does he want another marriage and alimony , property separation etc.

Isn't that kind of like the horror movie where somebody wanders into a matted web crawling with Black Widows? By that age, most women are just going to regard you as a kind of live in handyman, preferably with assets, who doesn't make sexual demands and won't get in the way of their psycho crazed, solipsistic female ways.

Observing a few older couples with twilight relationships, it's amazing how segregated they are from each other, and the man has usually degenerated into some kind of weird "soap opera line" flattery machine who has to grovel with extreme compliments to the woman every three or four minutes. The women are mausoleums of expensive narcissism with plastic surgery, makeup, etc. and exaggerated female appurtenances.

In spite of some interesting information, I couldn't like this article. It starts out by stating that 70% of men aren't married, and then goes on to say that many of them live in a state of perpetual adolescence. Leading with these two thoughts together is clearly trying to imply that if you don't get married, you are an adult adolescent. Yet later the article does identify that 7.9 million opposite sex couples in the U.S. live together but are not married.

It becomes apparent that the goal of the article is to shame men into marrying with this line: "Crouse says the decline in marriage and a corresponding rise in cohabitation is happening despite at least a decade of research demonstrating the societal benefits of two-parent families."

If the parents are cohabitating, then they are a two-parent family. While I'm married myself, I can get why couples would chose to raise their kids without getting hitched.

30 to 35 ? Or 30 to 40 ? Those would be some interesting numbers. Of course a very small percentage of men under 25 are married. But I think there's got to still be a huge spike in the 25 - 30 age range.
