Still not sure why a picture of a Polish soldier can be associated with Russian anything. Is it because Poland was once divided and partially occupied by Russia? (Actually, make it twice - second time while Russia was in alliance with Hitler).

Or Poland invaded Russia in 1920 without a causus belli, solely to occupy extra territory with no Polish majority. Or that it invaded Russia many times before, and even paid Muslim Tartars to attack Russia. In 1939 Russia took back land that has been Russian, stolen by Poland that was not part of the 1919 LoN grant to Poland.
