Perhaps the fact that we have seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant has made our generation understand that to choose one's government is not necessarily to secure freedom.

APOCALYPSEFUCK_is_ADORABLE "This has been true and commented upon since Bush I and in some quarters since FDR"
True, but I would say it picked up with Eisenhower and his illegal Indochina war, Johnson at least made a show with the questionable Tokin Gulf Resolution. It increased under Nixon, really picked up with Bush the lesser and hit escape velocity with Obama.
hone is correct, Americans seem to want a tyrant, and foolishly believe the tyrant will be in accordance with their beliefs, whatever those beliefs, because they have the right an moral beliefs.
Feminists decry Betsy De Vos rescinding the illegal and in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act "Dear Colleague" letter without thinking where it would go if she acted as imperiously as Obama's DOE did in issuing the letter.
I voted for Johnson ( well my choice was an a$$hole, a c@nt, or a Johnson) but believe Trump has actually show restraint in use of the (unconstitutional) powers the president currently exercise.

FYI - this is the same image that our sentient bot "Freespeak/NYC" posted a few days ago. So id now say with 99% certainty, ya'll are responding to a bot. Have fun, but don't expect a meaningful response to a question.

usatoday.com:
"But the real problem in this nation is the dictatorial illiteracy that has allowed modern presidents to commandeer far too much power."

As intended by Democrat & Republican voters, they could have stopped this?
