No man, didn't you see the video? The flag was shaking with no atmosphere. Totally fake!

Calm down guys, you will get Gary all worked up.

I watched it 6 times. You know. I'm not sure that's even a person in the space suit. It's arm is crooked.

hahaha jazz the post is sarcasm / a joke. Sorry thought you realized it.

One statement in the video though was interesting if it's true. Claims it can get to nearly 4K F in the thermosphere?!

I'd always just assumed it gets colder as you go up.

HEY!

Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon in 1969. Believe it. Women raped him.

He might have done the moon walk in 1969.

The moon is photoshopped in the sky. It isn't even there!

I couldn't watch the video because I lost my tinfoil hat.

he's right. the fact that no one has been back there since proves it.

"we had the technology but we destroyed it" LMAO sure.

We went there, realized nothing fun there, left and never returned.

Hahaha... I'd heard about these people about 20 years ago. At the time I could hardly believe they existed. I'm pretty sure he is claiming it's 4K °F in the thermosphere at resting state. That or it's friction from launch / upwards trajectory. Both sound like BS.

Okay, wow, Wikipedia:

"The highly diluted gas in this layer can reach 2,500 °C (4,530 °F) during the day. Even though the temperature is so high, one would not feel warm in the thermosphere, because it is so near vacuum that there is not enough contact with the few atoms of gas to transfer much heat."

Why do you think that spacecraft are always white? Solar radiation is intense outside an atmosphere. White helps bounce off most of the radiation that would be absorbed. The rest must be radiated away into space as infrared radiation, using special radiators for the job. If the power goes out on the ISS, the astronauts there wouldn't freeze, they'd cook!
