Two years after "Mattress Performance," Emma Sulkowicz continues to provoke. Her most recent piece, in which she was bound, berated, and hung from the ceiling, tackles the question of the value of art under the Trump administration.

But she will probably be fine with jihadis.

The guy she accused, Paul Nungesser, just got millions from Columbia University in a settlement to stop a defamation lawsuit from going through.

She's a terrible person with poor taste, but if she keeps getting media attention then she will get rich from this eventually. So maybe she's a smart businesswoman.

For every person that makes money spreading hate, there are 100,000 that attempt to do so and fail. Those who succeed do not do so because they are more intelligent. It's pure dumb luck. The media will sustain a few hate celebrities and pick them basically at random. Picking the right lottery numbers doesn't make you smart. It makes you lucky.

Maybe they should put her inside the mattress and sew it back up.
