The fascination with this case is beyond my comprehension (then and now).

This is the biggest story in the country today.

Man had his wife murdered, took up arms in bank robberies, and is free. Some people sure enjoy their "freedoms".

He'd fit right in as a realtor though.

Lawyers made so much money and publicity off the OJ soap opera crime offensive, they decided to release him and see if he can produce some more.

My only fascination is that this guy can decapitate his wife and walk free. Identity politics is so poisoning to society.

This was the very first sign at how split the US was....At the time, most black people thought OJ was innocent...and based on...I dunno...racism?

Now its different, but still racism on the part of the blacks that think he is innocent. .

Zimmerman is innocent...

I went to a diverse high school in Berkeley, CA.

I remember when that verdict was read in 1995, they wheeled in a TV and all the students and teacher tuned into the verdict.

When the not guilty verdict was read, every black kid in the class jumped up in glee and began slapping high fives to eachother. All the white and Asian kids were putting their head down in disappointment.

I will never forget those reactions and the impact they had on my view towards race relations.

Chris Rock did a bit years ago where he joked about black people's reaction to the verdict... "WE WON! WE WON! Wait, what the fuck did we win? I've been waiting at the mailbox for years for my OJ prize and it's never come" LOL

Black's supported OJ based on race and nothing else. Disgusting.

Being called a commissioned salesperson of shacks would be an insult to Simpson.

That's the sad thing. Civil rights leaders and government permitted that kind of stupidity to be acceptable socially, so as long as confrontation is between people of different skin color it turns into "black" vs "white", all facts and logic goes out the window. Liberals scream racism without knowing a single fact, really stupid behavior.

That's the problem with today's fanatical liberals. They play the race card on every fucking issue even if it has nothing to do with race.
Good luck solving social problems when you can't even see the real problem.

My mother couldn't tell you the difference between a touchdown and a home run. But she'll tell you every detail of the OJ saga for the past 23 years. I don't understand it, but it's there.
