We wanted to buy a new mattress about 10 years ago, because the mattress industry says you are supposed to.
We went shopping and saw that when you buy a mattress today you are only getting half a mattress.
Pillow top on the top and springs and material on the bottom, never meant to be flipped or slept on the other side.

We bought our Sealy double pillow top deluxe mattress when we got married about 22 years ago. Flip it over every six months. And it is still more comfortable than any Mattress we've seen in the store in the last 10 years or more.
It still looks as new as the day we bought it.

Why are Liberal companies greedy, stupid and impractical?

It is clear to me that if the springs are recoiling and springing back even after compact abuse, then the problem isn't dumping old mattresses.
The fucking problem is dumping tons of mattress springs every year, that could have had the compactable materials stripped away, and discarded in a landfill.
And then new soft bedding added to the mattresses. Just imagine all of the cottage Mom and Pop start up businesses it could create.
OH FUCK ME!!! That's the goddamned problem right there! Can't have self sufficient people creating a lucrative niche for themselves and not need a Liberal cocksucker politician in their life.
