Stein 1.2 million votes..

Gary took roughly 4 million

Clinton looks like she will win popular vote barely

We can be honest with it now, she wasn't the darling of the progressive movement from the start.

Of course, but, she probably didn't have anything close to having less than 7 million less voters than Obama 2012

I have seen the hard left on the net, they hated her as much as they would hate a Republican.

Jill Stein did terrible, big hit to progressive left for now..

However, Warren party for 2020

It's hard to turn out for the basic run of the mill dishonest person.
Yeah, trump lied his ass off during the race. 1 year of it.
But the populace had 30 years of hillary's lies embedded in it's psyche...

7   _   2016 Nov 9, 6:36am

One thing is for sure... this puts and end to the Clinton Bush dynasty for both parties

8   BayArea   2016 Nov 9, 6:36am

I haven't looked at the numbers, but you're saying that the total votes cast was less than the total in the last two elections?

Seriously?? 😳

Just needed some policies that resonated. Instead, this has felt like an almost policy free election. Absurd plans vs policy minutiae. It's been a poor election on many levels.

STFU Logan.

You're one of the dumbest fuckers here.

Now you're trying to cover your failure to correctly analyze a major event, AGAIN.

Why didn't you write this BEFORE the election actually happened, like freespeechforever did ON NOVEMBER 2nd:

Trump.

Revolution is in the air, driven by largest block of angry, formerly disenfranchised voters in modern-American history.

Trump will get MANY votes of those in their 40s, 50s and 60s who've not voted in many, many years (maybe decades).

It's Brexit on steroids, driven by many of the reasons cited by Michael Moore.

It doesn't hurt his odds that Hillary is an utter piece-of-shit who causes even most Democratic-affiliated voters the need to hold their noses.

Biggest surprises:

1) Trump will win 80%+ of male vote.

2) Hillary's "massive" edge with women will fizzle into less than 9% advantage.

3) African-Americans will only cast 70% of the # of votes for Hillary that they did for Obama in 2008 or 2012.

4) Millennials will not turn out in anywhere near the numbers that they did in 2008, and those who do will vote in surprisingly large numbers for Jill Stein.

5) Trump will win North Carolina, Michigan, Nevada, Arizona and Pennsylvania (in addition to Florida & Ohio - he'll win by double digits in Ohio).

Lol Logan. You have to be the most stupid mofo on here.

Let me get this straight... your takeaway from this election is...

Hillary lost because the turnout was low?

The legacy of this election is a low turnout?

Seriously?

That's your best assessment of this entire 2 year event?

Because she is a Republicanlite. All the blame goes to the Democratic establishment who ensured that Clinton wins the primaries at all costs. They can't screw us and then expect us to get in line forever. Eventually it had to be put a stop to.

2012

2016

Clinton

59,344,081 votes (47.7%)

Trump

59,178,831 votes (47.5%)

Trump won even with less votes than what Romney got

She wins Popular vote just about the amount of felons that Virgina gave the vote. Just imagine the blow out Trump would have delivered had Obama not made every Immigrant from the last 15 years legal citizens with the right to vote, and a voting booth at the swear in ceremony.

I think it's fitting and wouldn't have this outcome any other way. And to anyone that bitches about the outcome I ask them to look at the electoral map down to the vote by county. The whole country was red except for the select counties in the big Blue states where the deck was stacked with immigrant votegees. Even in those big blue states the rest of the state is solid red.

This election has given me an appreciation of the electoral college. Otherwise LaLa Land California would win every election by giving every American hating freak on the planet the right to vote.

Why did America just vote in a guy who intends to change most of it?
hmmmmmm?

Logan pulled the charts out.

He'll next somehow tie this in to how he's speaking to a 7-member audience about Home Equity Lines of Credit, and stretch this thread out to 288 responses, mostly by replying to himself with those charts and idiotic statements.

Not sure the purpose of all these digs. He made a perfectly reasonable point. That is a very clear drop in voter participation, and the last election wasn't exactly a humdinger driving people to the voting booths.

As a Republican, my party now has 3 branches of the government.

So, maybe we actually do get a infrastructure package done

The question is will there be infighting of the debt, which really shouldn't be an issue our economy plus financial assets are over 125 Trillion

36   junkmail   2016 Nov 9, 8:01am

Lol. Logan you're in a pissing contest of one.

My kid graduated NYU Stern School of Business in May, now works for CitiBank in the M and A Dept. Just got headhunted to work in his dream hedge fund job, starting in 2 years. I paid for all of that with money I earned, my parents are dirt poor and so was I at the beginning.

Something you can only dream about.

The Indpendent Third pary candidates are the real heros in this election. May they gain steam in future elections. I've been sick and tired of 51%-49% bipartisan election results.
I would like to see the day a candidate wins on 31% of the vote.
