I feel sorry for the poor bastards who have to sit there and defend his ass on TV. I keep expecting someone to just bust out laughing half way through the interview and say they just can't do it any longer.

The fact that he still has as much support as he does, is a terrifying barometer of how stupid and bigoted a bunch of America is.

The whole "rigged" cry is just like the "rape" cry after some act of extreme irresponsibility. Trump is the trollop that gets totally wasted and shoves her tits in the face of any piece of trash at a rave. Instead of an intoxicated teenager far beyond the point of consent, it's an alleged adult asking for the keys to the most powerful nation in the modern world. AND HE'S THE VICTIM!!

I think the effect is the opposite. Next cycle and the one after that, the overlords have to be concerned that an outsider candidate such a a Bernie type, could succeed in moving the country towards socialism, toward being more like some European countries.

So a voting block of white, authoritarian, anti establishment, nationalist, xenophobic, gun loving, "real Americans" is coming together. This is a group that will follow another right wing authoritarian demagogue in the future. It's not important that they are losing with Trump. What's important is that next time, they are there, ready to present a 4th party challenge to any third party that becomes strong enough to challenge the establishment.
