Looking to purchase a 3 bed/1.5 or 2 bath 1200 sq ft ranch home built after 1950. The home must be updated post 1990 era structurally and cosmetically. I'm not interested in your shag carpet, crappy wall-paper, and brass plated fixtures. The home should ideally have a garage to protect my car from the vicious snow storms we get from November thru April. I also would like a waterproofed basement where I can store items. A finished basement is a big bonus! I know you'd like 120-200K for your outdated house. I can afford that if I took out a Interest Only Mortgage and not pay off any principle, but choose not to over-leverage myself. In the meantime, I'll just continue to rent my nice mid-1990s condo with an attached garage for 650 a month and not worry about fixing anything.

how do you deal with hud? at 78k i offered 20k, at 58k i offered 19k, now they are 52,200. Water actually runs inside the house from the yard. How do you find out how much hud has paid in taxes and upkeep on this dog? Because vandals struck again yesterday!
