All attempts to turn the storm into Obama's Katrina were wrecked today by Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie. Better lying luck next time!

"I have to say, the administration, the president, himself and FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate have been outstanding with us so far," Christie said on Good Morning America. "We have a great partnership with them."

"He worked on that last night with me…offered any other assets that we needed to help," Christie said. "I want to thank the president personally for his personal attention to this."

Christie is a honorable man. I don't know about many other Republicans.

Well there is always the ,"heckava job Brownie," whose experience before being FEMA director during Katrina was running the Arabian Horse Association. He says Obama responded too early???!!! Where do these critters come from?

Christie is doing his job. He has to worry about his own political future. If he's seen as doing anything less than everything he could for his constituents over the next month or so his career will probably be over.
