Niall Ferguson: America is Imperialistic, and should show it off, flaunt it. He supports the neocons and American dominance in the middle east. But in order to understand the neocon mind and what the neocons could be capable of we need to look into their worldview prior to 911. Only then can we hope to understand just what drives the neocons, or as Pat Buchanan says, the War Party. We know two facts about the neocons from that era that could help us determine if this War Party is made up of good guys or bad guys.

A war with Iran will be devastating to the US economy. It could turn US citizens against Israel forever. It should only be made after all other efforts are exhausted. According to Biden, Iran lacks the nuclear weapon to contain any nuclear material and has made no effort to procure such a weapon. Bibi intruded upon the election of a sovereign nation and I view him as being a dangerous fellow. Apparently a lot of Israel citizens and leaders and former leaders feel the same way.
