Oh well I guess the Liberal elite plan of dazzling them with education, flair and style backfired and bit Barry in the Ass. I've said it before and I'll say it again.
The republicans are good at taking the race fixing measures the Liberals create and ripping it from the shoulder socket and bludgeoning them over the heads with it.

Wow, somebody really got you fired up today!!! Nice visual, got a link to the youtube video?? I bet it would be a good one!!

I liked what Romney said. He was saying what Obama sez, he just has a broader net of who benefits from the efforts.

Obama couldn't be me more complacent about he plight of economic, energy, and health policy in America. Especially when it comes to the middle class.

Obama loathes the Rich, throws the poor a deflated life raft, but the middle class just doesn't even register on his scale of "Giveacrapness".

The geriatric moderating the debate was very irritating. He kept losing control and costing time throughout. Man needs to go to the nursing home. How old was this man?

I am under 50 but I can tell you right now to me you have not only no respect but you also appear to have been brought up under a rock to speak such a way about an older man.

One day YOU too will be that man's age, and frankly you could only wish at that age you would have half that man's journalist credibility to have the same honour of hosting a presidential debate.

    Reader

He is too old and feeble to host a Presidential debate. Next time the television producers will think twice before depending on a moderator who wears depends. He needs to be spoon fed clam chowder at the nursing home.

I can't tell. With Obama, I know what I will get. Some good, some bad. The records speak for themselves and the results are measurable. Essentially, I already know Obama's thought process.

With Mitt, I'm a little confused. Balance the budget but don't explain how, lower the tax rate for everyone but don't explain which tax dedutions to take away. Worst, I felt Mitt was contradicting himself as if he cares about the middle class all of a sudden and his talking point all of a sudden molded differently. I have been following his campaign especially the primaries. Little bit of a changeup.

In any case, it was set up for Mitt to win as the economy, employment, budget, healthcare leads 100's of talking points and really too much for the incumbent to defend. But from my perspective, Mitt is not the answer. It doen't really matter, 50% will think one way and another 50% the other.

Man, that was hilarious. Haven't seen Gore for a while, looks like he has been tanking like Charles Bukowski, even the make up can't hide the Ted Kennedy bloat and gin blossoms.

Except that Romney was in the same air as Obama, bit of an equalizer there. Maybe Romney was high on erythropoeitin and O2 and was tapping on his ruby Republican slippers, that must explain it. The great Obama Oz deflated.

Saw Sharpton on TV at the gym looking pie eyed and hysterical, looks like he is fearful that even the minorities might not vote for Obama, they need a major psycho BS injection.

We already know Romney despises "the middle class".

It's not a little of a changeup, it's bald-faced lies when you know his true face is guffawing with his Richie Rich friends about how "my job is not to worry about THOSE people".

"When I got on the stage, I met this very spirited fellow who claimed to be Mitt Romney.
But it couldn't have been Mitt Romney, because the real Mitt Romney has been running around the country for the last year promising $5 trillion in tax cuts that favor the wealthy. The fellow on stage last night said he didn't know anything about that.

The real Mitt Romney said we don't need any more teachers in our classrooms, but
the fellow on stage last night, he loves teachers, can't get enough of them.

The Mitt Romney we all know invested in companies that were called pioneers of outsourcing jobs to other countries, but the guy on stage last night said he doesn't even know that there were such laws that encourage outsourcing. He's never heard of them!

Never heard of tax breaks for companies that shift jobs overseas? He said that if it's true he must need a new accountant.

Now, we know for sure it was not the real Mitt Romney because he seems to be doing just fine with his current accountant.

So, you see, the man on stage last night does not want to be held accountable for the real Mitt Romney's decisions and what he's been saying for the last year. And that's because he knows full well that we don't want what he's been selling for the last year.

So Governor Romney may dance around his positions, but if you want to be president you owe the American people the truth.

So here's the truth: Governor Romney cannot cannot pay for his $5 trillion tax plan his tax plan without blowing up the deficit or sticking it to the middle class. That's the math.

We can't afford to go down that road again. We can't afford another round of budget busting tax cuts for the wealthy. We can't afford to gut our investments in education or clean energy or research and technology.

We can't afford to roll back regulations on Wall Street, or oil companies, or insurance companies. We cannot afford to double down on the same top down economic policies that got us into this mess. That is not a plan to create jobs. That is not a plan to grow the economy. That is not a plan to create change. That is a relapse. We don't want to go back there. We've tried it. It didn't work and we are not going back. We are going forward."

My notion is that the O plan for the debate was basically a version of "give 'em enough rope..." which may the case. Nobody remembers the actual debates much, but what we are treated to now is a ton of analysis by the media and one thing seems to emerging, that O underperformed and that M continued his game plan of, well, lying.

Certainly O and the dems are having a field day with much of what M said during the debate, making it clearer and clearer that M basically stands for nothing that anyone can pin him down on.

I can promise after the sad display Obama has exhibited over the last 4 years, there's nothing about another politician taking Obama to the woodshed, that will make an Independent feel sorry for"Wish in one hand and shit in the other, and see which one fills up quicker" Obama.

Ah a spread sheet, that must be accurate, only neutral news organizations own a copy of excel, and the only way to get a value in a cell, a number will magically appear if it is indeed an undisputed fact. Lies will self delete.

We added 104K jobs last month but unemployment fell to 7.8% from 8.4%.
I believe any number the Liberals will be putting out from the Ministry of Misinformation and Propaganda.

Romney pandered to the Independents Wed night. Obama never has since day one of coming into office. It's quite safe to say Independents are done. Even the CNN live panel favored Romney and said his performance gave them a favorable opinion of him. Now this was in conjunction with CNN having a professional pundit panel to discuss the results, that were majority Democrat. They were besides them selves that their independent panel backfired on them. There were a major show of hands, that were favorable to Romney.

True, how ever, it's the other liar's time for 4 years then he's out.

Let's hope that by 2016, Independent voters will have more voting rights, and a greater say in who is nominated. Closed Primaries is a crime against Democracy when you consider 1/3 of the American voting public identify them selves as No party affiliation.

The Majority of Ron Paul's supporters were Independents or disillusioned Democrats, they were not allowed to voice their choice in the Republican primaries. That is how we ended up with Romney.

The same can be said for 2008, we ended up with a race between Obama and Clinton, because Independents and Republicans couldn't vote Kusinich in the Democrat primaries.

One third of America is a modern example of Taxation with out representation.

Oh bullshit, both were guilty of overstepping their time to get their point in.
"I had 5 seconds before you interrupted me" - Obama then took 3 minutes to finish his point.

But none of that bothers me, to be fair, both candidates should be able to speak. Two minutes is a poor amount of time. The biggest comments from blogs, threads and news comments, is "He didn't go into detail to explain his position" well it's damn hard to explain anything in great detail when you have a Chess clock, and a moderator that cuts you off mid sentence.

When I was told by a Liberal last Friday during lunch. I was assured Obama was going to destroy Romney, because there wasn't going to be any typical moderation as we knew it. Both candidates were going to be given a topic and they have to explain their position. Instead of moderators asking lame questions that are of no interest to your average voter.

Now I welcome that, and it's an excellent format but it needs some tweaking. I think there should be less interference from the Moderator.

And OH! Obama clearly did NOT destroy Romney. I think that's why Liberals now have sour grapes about the debate format that THEY championed.

    Yep, hope springs eternal.

The money (which means a lot more than the sound around here coming out of random orafices) briefly had Romney up to where you would only get 2:1 odds
    betting on him.

But it's drifting the other way now. iem had Romney briefly up around .32 (reflecting almost a one in three chance of winning). But down around .28 now.

Here in the real, non-Rasmussen world, Romney-bot isn't winning his home state. At least, if you consider Massachusetts his home state.

Isn't that usually something the somebodies make something about? Seemed like Gore's "mending fences" concession speech was a recognition of such.
