Another weekend, another open house nearby, so I stopped in after running errands. I didn't ask the Realtor's name, I said I just lived nearby and wanted to see the property and grounds. The unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhome on the 'better' side of Hatteras toward Woodland Hills offered at 325K. At nearly 1,500 square feet the unit is large and offers many amenities, soaring ceilings, 2 fireplaces, a large patio, private in the middle of the complex, skylights, and a very nice kitchen. I haven't seen a property recently that has most everything you could want in a unit. The master bedroom was nearly perfect with a balcony, fireplace, 2 closets, one walk-in, and split into two square parts where one could easily be an office. Minor cosmetic repairs are needed in the unit. The owner bought in 2008 for 370k, bought a house, and wants to sell this property. Beautiful, but I really don't want that much debt. http://www.redfin.com/CA/Tarzana/18745-Hatteras-St-91356/unit-46/home/4048903

Wow, the owner is taking a $45,000 loss to sell, plus the cost of selling ($19,500).
