The site in video is a completely worthless site. It only has land in Bumblefuck, FL, not anywhere where you would actually want to buy.

Grain producing farm land, gold doesn't have many calories.

Even cash has limitations in this economy and I don't see it getting better any time soon. Good fine books, fine art, classic automobiles and quality antiques have in my opinion more long term value now than all the rest.

Gold. You don't pay property tax on it. ;)

Land, it's been the best investment ever, because land value is barely taxed, and if you are powerful enough you can get your nation's military to take it. :)
A whole movie was based on that reality: Superman in 1978. Lex Luthor bought cheap land to the east of the San Andreas Fault, and plotted and earthquake to sink California. Hey, Presto! Oceanfront property in Nevada!
Gold is objectively nowhere worth the gains found in land. It's an up and down commodity that depends on the psychology of the masses to believe it is intrinsically worth something.
Mark Twain - "Buy land, they aren't making anymore of it."

It's true...rare OEM auto parts even more so than the cars, if you want less liability. The only real problem with hoarding antiques or giffen goods is that collectibles are often as volatile as commodities or equities, and, of course, you're not as liquid as you'd be with those other things. It'd be great if you could go and purchase a house/car/boat/ using an Old Master and get a couple of velvet Elvis' back in small change...
