This reminds me of an apartment complex near the old I-93 traffic jams: they had a sign that said, "If you lived here, you'd be home now." Yes, surrounded by angry motorists honking horns in a giant cloud of smog.

Well, really, what more do you need? Here's a walkable neighborhood with upscale shopping close at hand, white plastic fences and residences slapped together from odd parts of aluminum garden sheds, set on rolling green lawns unencumbered by landscaping or useless beautification attempts. If only you'd included an address so I could call a rEALTOR now.

You complain that real estate is too expensive, but are unwilling to compromise...can't have it both ways. That's a perfectly good house for someone who is on a lower budget.

Walk to Walmart and McDonalds is a selling point?

Do we know if the house is actually for sale? Maybe they're just renting out bunks in one of the windowless sheds.
Also, does anybody walk to McDonald's? I thought that place was for people so sedentary they can't even get out of the car, hence the "drive-thru" window. I walked to a Burger King once, they had closed the seating area and I had to walk through the "drive-thru." I'm not fussy about restaurant presentation, but walking through the parking lots of these places is not very appetizing.
One good thing though: with those endless grey skies, the grass sure is greener on their side of the fence than in Phoenix.

Walking keeps you in shape. These people walked to Walmart. (Peopleofwalmart.com)
