I'd like the home page to clearly spell out the best ways around our corrupt real estate system right now. So I've broken down the site into basically eight sections:

Defend Yourself From Bullshit Arguments

Consider Alternative Housing

Find A House Without An Agent

Calculate The House Value Via Rents

Get The House Inspected

Make A Cash Offer In Person

Get A Lawyer To Complete The Transaction

Change Our Evil System

Think that's clear enough?

    It sounds clear to me.

You may want to add a subtitle for the links something along the lines of:
    Patrick says

the best ways around our corrupt real estate system

Also, in the "find a house without an agent" I don't see much in there on finding a FSBO which is the ideal situation.

Not to nit-pick too much, but in titles one generally does not capitalize: a, an, the, to, in or via.

    Thanks!

OK, I added in "the best ways around our corrupt real estate system".

I'll add in FSBO links to the house search part.

I plan to continuously improve this until there is a smooth and well-worn and well-known path around all the non-productive or anti-productive leeches.

I know about title capitalization rules, but I just hate the inconsistency. Similar to my problem with punctuation.

This is GOOD! It goes a long way toward restoring the editorial emphasis that had gotten lost in one of the recent front-page re-shufflings (cf. other discussion a few weeks ago).

    Thanks.

It also appears that you made the "current discussions" part on the left of the page much "taller".

    Awesome.

    But! But! but...Ahhhhh....OK...

Anyway a couple more items for you to consider:

In the "Defend Yourself From Bullshit Arguments" section there is no defense to the bullshit argument that a buyers agent actually works for the buyer.

You do mention in the "Find A House Without An Agent" section that there is an incentive for agent to screw the buyer. It may be helpful to have this text link to an anchor on the Defend page that details the incentive to screw.

Another thing that I just thought of was the use of "Bullshit" in a title. While I personally have no objection to adult language it may turn off others who find patrick.net.

    You are right!

OK, argument number one is now about the bogus argument that the buyer's agent is free.

And I changed "bullshit" to "bogus" everywhere, to help avoid spam filters.
