All Trolls Are Sluts

During one of the debates I pointed out the hypocrisy of the Catholic Church opposing allowing women to buy contraceptives though their health care providers. It turns out that 98% of Catholic women use birth control. Yet the Catholic Church calls birth control an immoral choice and a sin because if you use birth control that means you're having sex for fun and that makes you a slut. So, in pointing out this obvious hypocrisy I used the line "Catholic women are sluts" to illustrate what the Catholic Church thinks of the 98% of its female parishioners who use birth control.

Now anyone with even half a brain could tell that I wasn't trying to insult Catholic women, but rather the Catholic Church. You know, the same church that is okay with priests molesting children. Yes, the church in which the pope played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by priests. Yet, this church wants to deny adult women the ability to have consensual sex using birth control because doing so would make them sluts, all 98% of them.

One line in one posting supporting women's rights is all a troll needs to completely distort the truth. For the past year, a troll going by the name Cloud has been taking this line out of context and using it to mean the exact opposite of what it does. This troll has posted that line no fewer than a hundred times on threads having nothing to do with the subjects of birth control, the Catholic Church, or women. Worst still, he is using a reference that supports women's reproductive rights to deliberately misinform people that I'm anti-women, a belief that is clearly untrue based on the plethora of political postings I've made.

Yes, Cloud that poor excuse of a human being, wants you to think that I believe all Catholic women are sluts including my mother and both my sisters. Oh, you didn't know that? Yes, I'm a hard-core atheist, but I was raised Catholic and my mother and both my sisters are Catholic. Ooops, I guess that kind of discredits Cloud's spamming of a deliberately deceiving message.

For the past year, I've had Cloud on ignore. Occasionally his fake outrage would leak into a thread via someone quoting it, and I would point out the lie. And normally I'd be content to put up with this behavior as tolerating assholes is the price you pay for free speech.

However, Cloud has increasingly become disruptive to threads, hijacking them as he cyberstalks me out of a desire for retribution for some supposed injury or humiliation. As much as this reveals that the shell of a human behind Cloud has no life or friends in the real world and should be pity as such, it also has made discussing any issue impossible due to his constant spamming of the same lie.

Free speech is the right to speak out against injustices and to speak your opinion. It is meant to protect the weak from the powerful. It does not give you the right to spread a lie and to stalk a person that you hate for some personal reason. Nor does it give you the right to hijack every conversation denying other people the ability to communicate and to debate ideas. This is why hecklers are thrown out of audiences.

This is exactly what Cloud does.

And that is why trolls need to be silenced, so the rest of us can speak.

Combine this with his comment about ALL Catholic woman being sluts and the irony is clear Ah, the lies that come from Cloud are astonishing even to politicians. Especially since they are so easily refuted. My recent thread Honey, swallow. It's good for you, which was filed under Humor hint hint, was about an article that said semen had beneficial health properties. And if I'm calling anyone a slut under that post, it's me. Just read the second reply. Oh, but combine this with "this comment about ALL Catholic woman being sluts and the irony is clear". Irony? Does Cloud even know what this word means, because I think he's using it wrong. Cloud, you are proof that some loads were meant to be swallowed. Now that's irony. And, by the way, the quote that gave Cloud his year-long fake outrage boner is from this very old thread. Oh, and I didn't say "all Catholic women are sluts", just 98% of them. Furthermore, I responded to how Cloud was misinterpreting the statement in this response on that same thread. But instead of listening, Cloud created a second account Eho to fake populist support. The Eho account was on Dec. 5th, 2011 and made two comments supporting Cloud (the first that day) in the above thread and was never used again. So there you have it. Cloud is nothing but a lying bitch with no friends. Lacking anything resembling a real life, he follows people around on the Internet poisoning the well and otherwise disrupting conversations.

Maybe if you spent less time making shit up about people and more time reading their responses, you'd know why you look like an ass and a troll.

Ah, but it's so much fun seeing how frustrated Cloud is that his trolling gets deleted right away. That wasn't my intent, but it did bring a great smile to my face to watch Cloud rive in agony. It turns out that denying a troll an audience is like starving it. Still, you are right, that is the dark side, which is why I've limited myself to only deleting his trolling and spamming posts.

Actually, that was never my position as I stated way back in the thread that gave Cloud his fake outrage boner. Dan8267 says There is no need to be insulting to sluts. They are great. My only purpose in that thread was to condemn Catholics for their hypocritical stance on birth control. Catholics continue to support the Vatican which says only immoral women use birth control, yet 98% of Catholic women do. Those women should either stop supporting the Vatican or they should stop using birth control. It's hypocritical and dishonest to do both. And that is the point that Cloud refuses to understand. I was actually making the case that birth control is good and the Vatican's stand on the morality of birth control is medieval, and that the Vatican should not be allowed to drag society back to the dark ages by changing the law to prevent birth control from being available through health care providers. And because of that, I'm a misogynist according to that troll.
