This guy is a shark, not a victim. taxpayers are the victims. we gotta bailout every bank,insurance company, pension plan, foreign countries and now this guy?!?!?!

California state legislators have passed a key component of the Homeowners Bill of Rights, which would help people "who can afford their homes to get loan modifications." OXYMORON ? if you can afford it, why would you need a loan modification! How fucking odd is that... We all need to rush out and get a top of the line Benz or BMW.. because we can afford the car ...regardless of the debt! No problem! the Govmint will change the loan terms.

Loan owners (as the permabears rightfully ridicule them) will be encouraged to file bogus lis pendens etc From another site "Under the Bill of Rights, banks will need to give a definitive answer to a loan modification application before filing a notice of default. If a modification is denied, the bank will need to say why." Why would a lender need to defend their decision to execute their right to foreclose? Per contract, they have the *RIGHT* to do so. The only one profiting from this will be attorneys. It's strange seeing people who claim not to have money to make their payment, but they can afford to spend thousands of Dollars on an attorney. Strange and sad, because usually those attorneys don't achieve anything and just take the borrowers' money. Aw, why are you being so mean? Loan owners didn't pay their mortgage, and the lender wants to foreclose their house? The lenders are so mean for wanting to foreclose their house. Some law firms have been running a giant ponzi scheme and ripping the homeowners and the lenders off. Of course the loan owners are more than happy to pay the attorneys $750-$1,000/month to stall the foreclosure. It is much cheaper than paying rent. :o)

This was also on NPR this morning, so I think there is some new scam liberals are trying to push onto taxpayers here... NPR never spends a minute of their time if there is no money for whomever is interested in the idea.
